Two more members of the Parramatta Eels squad have found themselves in the crosshairs for a potential early departure as the team gears up for a new era under incoming coach Jason Ryles.
Taking the reins from interim coach Trent Barrett next season, Ryles is aiming to lead the Eels back to the finals for the first time since their 2022 showdown with the Penrith Panthers in the Grand Final.
Reports from Fox Sports suggest that the Eels are exploring options to offload Maika Sivo and Reagan Campbell-Gillard before their contracts expire, although nothing has been finalized yet.
Sivo, who is locked in until 2027 with potential extensions, was rumored to be on the chopping block as early as May after being demoted to the NSW Cup.
With a hefty salary of around $550,000 per season, Sivo was reportedly offered to the Super League earlier this year, with indications that Parramatta was willing to cover a substantial portion of his wage, per League Express.
