The NZ Warriors are set to welcome back center Patrick Moimoi for their round 16 Jersey Flegg Cup match against the Penrith Panthers at Go Media Stadium on Saturday, kicking off at 12:20 PM.
Moimoi, 21, is restarting his season after a long injury layoff and made a notable comeback by scoring a try in his first match back against Newcastle.
After two games, he faced a suspension but is now returning to the lineup, replacing Caelys Putoko, who has been promoted to the New South Wales Cup team.
The Warriors aim to build on their recent success, having achieved their best win of the season against Parramatta, a highly-ranked opponent, where they showcased their strength by outscoring them six tries to four for a 32-20 victory.
This win marked the Warriors' third triumph in their last four matches, propelling them back into the top eight.
