Mitchell Barnett, co-captain of the New Zealand Warriors, is back on the injured list after only two games since his return.
He suffered a broken right thumb during Friday night's match against the Wests Tigers at Go Media Stadium.
Barnett has undergone surgery, but his return date is currently unknown.
In contrast, playmaker Luke Metcalf successfully returned from his knee injury during the game against the Tigers.
Meanwhile, second rower Morgan Gannon has been cleared to play after completing concussion protocols last week.
However, Kurt Capewell remains out due to a calf injury sustained during warm-ups before the Raiders match.
He is expected to be back in action next week.
