Hull KR skipper Elliot Minchella is feeling as grateful as a roo in a lush paddock after five years of blood, sweat, and tears with the club.
He's now gearing up to lead his team to glory and snatch that Grand Final trophy to add to their collection.
The road to the Super League Grand Final is no walk in the park, mate, and Minchella knows it.
He's been a loyal Robins player since 2020, making the leap from Bradford Bulls after a rocky ride with the Leeds Rhinos.
Through thick and thin, highs and lows, he's stuck by his team, witnessing the lows of finishing at the bottom and the highs of a Challenge Cup final.
Now, the time has come for Hull KR to battle it out for the Super League crown against the Wigan Warriors at Old Trafford, in what promises to be a ripper of a game.
Minchella's journey to captain his team at the iconic 'Theatre of Dreams' has been a rollercoaster, mate, especially after missing their nail-biting semi-final clash due to a ban for a dodgy tackle.
"I had full faith in the lads to get the job done, but watching from the sidelines was as nerve-wracking as a penalty shootout," said Minchella.
So, as the stage is set for the showdown of the season, Minchella and his mates are ready to give it their all, leave it all out on the field, and hopefully, come out on top as the champions of the Super League.
You can catch all the action live on Sky Sports this Saturday from 5pm.
It's gonna be a cracker, no doubt about it.
