'It gives us all hope': The 2.30am Canadian Watch Party for NRLW Debut
Canadian rugby players rallied together for a special 2:30 AM watch party to support Megan Pakulis as she made her much-anticipated debut in the NRLW for the Titans.
Her performance has inspired fellow teammates, motivating some to pursue their own dreams of competing at higher levels.
Pakulis, who was also a 2024 NRL Vegas Combine winner, etched her name in history by becoming the first North American to play in the NRLW.
She made her debut coming off the bench in Round 2 against Brisbane.
Petra Woods, a centre on the Ravens team, remarked that despite the significant time difference, her teammates in Canada were there cheering her on.
