Luke Metcalf of the New Zealand Warriors has surged to the top of the Dally M standings with 30 points following his fourth maximum six-point performance this season.

His latest achievement came during the Warriors' 16-12 victory over the Dolphins at Suncorp Stadium.

Metcalf's previous six-point contributions were recorded in victories against Manly Warringah, Newcastle, and North Queensland.

In the match against the Dolphins, Metcalf's impact was significant.

He created an impressive try for centre Kurt Capewell, showcased a robust kicking game, and exhibited solid defensive skills, including converting two of the Warriors' three tries.

Alongside Metcalf, teammates Mitchell Barnett, Erin Clark, Wayde Egan, and Marata Niukore shared six points in the contest.

Erin Clark notably contributed two points, raising his total to 13.

In his performance, he played for 72 minutes, covering 147 metres from 14 runs with 62 post-contact metres, making six tackle breaks, and achieving 41 tackles.

Overall, Metcalf's remarkable performances have placed him just ahead of Sharks fullback Will Kennedy in the standings, making him a standout player this season.
