Melbourne Storm's Jersey Flegg side notched up their second victory of the season with a 30-20 triumph over the Bulldogs.

The team, led by Mark Russell, is currently in fourth place on the U21 ladder after their impressive road win.

The match got off to a flying start for the Storm, with Jak Goulding scoring a try in the opening minute.

An Eli Morris penalty goal further solidified their early lead.

The Bulldogs managed to strike back with a try from Patrick Young, but Mitch Jennings quickly responded to extend the Storm's advantage.

After the halftime break, Ioane Lui and Suli Pole added to the Storm's lead with tries of their own.

The young Storm side took control of the game, putting the result out of reach for the Bulldogs.

Despite late tries from Canterbury, the Storm held on to secure a crucial two points.

This victory sets them up nicely for their next challenge against the Tigers in Round 3.
