Melbourne Storm's Dominance Shines Again

Melbourne's remarkable performance transformed a tight contest into an overwhelming victory in just 12 minutes, flipping a close 20-18 game into a staggering 46-20 rout.

The explosive energy of Sua Fa'alogo, who completed a memorable hat-trick, will remain etched in the memories of fans for years to come.

This moment stands as a defining chapter for the Melbourne Storm, showcasing the club's exceptional management and ability to remain competitive, despite expectations of decline due to player transitions and departures in 2024 and 2025.

While back-to-back grand final defeats could devastate many teams, the Storm, facing injuries and the potential loss of key players, including their pursuit of Zac Lomax, continue to find motivation. Cameron Munster openly addressed what fuels their ambition following their win against the Dragons.

For Munster, the pivotal difference between experiencing the pain of finals loss and enjoying glory can be summarized in one word: consistency.

"Inconsistences in games, especially in big moments and big games. I think for us last year we got away with some wins and we weren't consistent enough so the more consistent we are during the season, I think it'll show in the big games," Munster shared.

"If we can do that all year, we're very confident with the game plan and the points we have in the team with the likes of Jahrome Hughes, Harry Grant and Sua Fa'alogo."

"We have the formula for it, it's just a matter the attitude is on and we defend well."

In their opening two rounds, Melbourne has scored an astounding 98 points while allowing only 24.
