Melbourne Storm Player Ratings: 2025 NRL Final

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

The Melbourne Storm faced disappointment yet again, falling short in the NRL Grand Final for the second consecutive year. After leading at halftime, they lost their grip on the match and were ultimately overtaken by the Brisbane Broncos, led by Reece Walsh.

Here are the player ratings for the Storm's 17 players:

1. Ryan Papenhuyzen - 8.5/10
Papenhuyzen stood out as one of Melbourne's top performers. He consistently posed a threat with the ball, amassing 235 metres from 21 runs and contributing a couple of line break assists.

2. Will Warbrick - 4.5
Warbrick delivered a solid performance in the first half but struggled significantly in the second. He recorded three errors and couldn't find a way past bench player Ezra Mam, who dominated that side of the field in the second half.

3. Jack Howarth - N/A
Rating Howarth was challenging, as he attempted to play through a groin injury but exited the field just 15 minutes into the game.
