The NSWRL has announced the selection of the Westpac NSW Under 19s Women's squad for the upcoming Women's State of Origin Under 19s match at Sunshine Coast Stadium on Thursday, June 19.
This year's 20-player squad includes seven athletes from the previous year's victorious team, which defeated Queensland 46-4.
The returning players are Ryvrr-Lee Alo, Indie Bostock, Evah McEwen, Evie McGrath, Maria Paseka, Kasey Reh, and Bronte Wilson.
This year's team features eight players from the Illawarra Steelers, the Westpac Tarsha Gale Minor Premiers, as well as five from the Parramatta Eels, the Premiers.
The squad will be coached by Courtney Crawford, who helms the Illawarra Steelers in the Westpac Tarsha Gale Cup, with assistants Ryan Walker from the Parramatta Eels and Melissa Spero from the Sydney Roosters.
The team will come together for a training camp starting on Friday, June 13, at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence located at Sydney Olympic Park, before heading to the Sunshine Coast on Monday, June 16.
