May's club future uncertain as negotiations heat up

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

In a surprising twist, the Canterbury Bulldogs have withdrawn from the fierce competition to secure the services of Sydney Roosters forward, Terrell May.

However, this does not guarantee that May will remain at Bondi for the long term.

It is quite evident that May is open to signing with any club as long as they also offer contracts to his brothers, Taylan and Tyrone.

The May brothers have a strong desire to play alongside each other from the start of the 2025 season, but it remains uncertain if any team is willing to take on the trio as a package deal.

Rumors suggest that the Roosters are eager to retain Terrell, and with Joseph Manu's imminent move to French Rugby, they may also make a play for Taylan's signature.

Despite all this speculation, the young prop recently switched management, and reports indicate that his new representative, David Rawlings, has reached out to both the Cronulla Sharks and St George Illawarra Dragons to gauge their interest in the dynamic and powerful youngster.
