Terrell May has expressed skepticism about his selection for the NSW State of Origin team, indicating he believes media reports suggesting he will be overlooked are accurate.

Despite being recognized as one of the top front-rowers this season alongside Payne Haas, May feels coach Laurie Daley is likely to favor other forwards known for their physical dominance, such as Mitch Barnett and Spencer Leniu, over his skillful playing style.

In a recent Twitch stream while gaming, May shared his thoughts on his potential exclusion with a friend.

He referenced a Blues jersey he bought for his friend, saying, "You know that Blues jersey I bought you? Chuck it in the bin." When asked if the team had already been named, May responded with uncertainty and mentioned reports he had seen.

He dismissed the idea that the media was merely speculating, asserting, "Nah it's not the media.

How do you think it got leaked, you think they're not just playing Chinese whispers?"

Moreover, NSW legend Andrew Johns has made a controversial statement suggesting that Latrell Mitchell and Tom Trbojevic should be chosen in the centres, which raises questions about Stephen Crichton's place in the team.

Despite May's impressive performance as an offloading player, it appears Daley prioritizes different attributes in his front-row selections, potentially compromising May's opportunity to represent NSW.

At the end of the stream, May concluded with, "Might have to switch my allegiance," signaling his frustration and uncertainty regarding his future with the Blues.
