May might tackle NRL return in future

Tyrone May, a player who tasted premiership success with the Penrith Panthers in 2021, has left the door slightly ajar for a potential comeback to the NRL in the future.

After being shown the door by the Panthers due to a social media misstep on Instagram, May found himself across the seas in the Super League, first with the Catalan Dragons and now with the Hull Kingston Rovers.

At 28 years young, the talented playmaker has been the subject of NRL comeback rumors, especially with the lure of playing alongside his younger brothers, Terrell and Taylan May.

Despite flirtations with a return to the NRL, including whispers of a possible move to the Canterbury Bulldogs under the tutelage of Cameron Ciraldo, May ultimately decided to stay put in the UK.

However, as he gears up for another season with the Hull Kingston Rovers, May remains coy about his plans beyond 2025, leaving the door open for a potential return to the NRL arena.
