The Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has officially announced the renewal of the popular rugby league show Morning Glory with Matty Johns for 2026.
The show is set to commence on Friday, 6 September 2025, airing weekly from 9 am to midday (AEDT/AEST) until the NRL Grand Final in October.
This announcement also includes Matty Johns' involvement in Joel Caine and Brian Fletcher's show, The Run Home, which broadcasts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Known as one of the premier NRL players turned media personalities, Johns has been a vital part of SEN since 2020 and the network is excited to continue their partnership with him for another year.
"Matt is the ultimate rugby league media showman, as brilliant with his expertise and insight into the game as he is creative and relatable to his loved audiences," stated SEN CEO Craig Hutchinson.
"We are rapt that Matty's unique blend of humour, insight and entertainment is reloading for another big year in 2026."
However, it remains unclear if Andrew Johns will return to the show, despite reports that the brothers have reconciled following a significant on-air dispute that resulted in 'Joey' leaving in 2023.
