Newcastle Knights winger Greg Marzhew is determined to recover from his MCL injury quicker than the initially projected four to six weeks.

According to reports from zerotackle.com, Marzhew sustained the injury during a recent loss to the Gold Coast Titans and subsequently underwent surgery.

Although the team's medical team has indicated a recovery period of four to six weeks, Marzhew is eager to return sooner.

Coach Adam O'Brien mentioned, "He's had some surgery on an MCL.

I think it was initially 4-6 (weeks), but he's a very good healer," reflecting Marzhew's optimistic mindset.

Despite the coach's acknowledgment that returning next week is unlikely, Marzhew's determination highlights his commitment to a swift recovery.
