Wests Tigers head coach Benji Marshall is facing potential NRL sanctions after making critical comments about referees during a post-match press conference.
This marks another instance this year where Marshall has implied his team suffered due to officiating errors.
He specifically highlighted two controversial decisions involving Jarome Luai, including a perceived late shot on Nathan Cleary and an escort infringement.
"The game is so hard and demanding.
And I actually feel sorry for the players because they didn't actually get to decide tonight," Marshall stated.
He expressed his frustration over the impact of the referees' decisions, particularly the first call on Luai, which he deemed "outrageous," as it contributed to the final score of 12-10 against his team.
