'Not getting a fair go': Marshall frustrated by missed sin bin call

Rugby League legend and Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall is seeing red after a rival player avoided punishment for a controversial incident.

According to news.com.au, the Panthers managed to dodge a bullet when halfback Brad Schneider escaped a sin bin for what appeared to be a clear professional foul on Tigers centre Justin Olam.

With the Tigers leading 6-0 in the 12th minute, winger Junior Tupou made a break on the sideline, with Olam in hot pursuit.

Just as Tupou was about to pass to Olam, the Tigers centre was tripped up by Schneider, causing him to hit the ground.

"He's definitely taken his legs out there, hasn't he? That's a sin bin offense," Dan Ginnane commented on Fox League.

"Absolutely.

It's a no-brainer.

It was a clear try scoring opportunity.

If Olam had received that pass, he would have been gone," Steve Roach added.

The Tigers were left feeling hard done by as the referee chose not to penalize Schneider for his actions.

The incident has left Marshall fuming as he feels his team was robbed of a chance to capitalize on a prime scoring opportunity.
