In Game 2 of the 2025 State of Origin series, Queensland's new captain, Cameron Munster, has been named man of the match.
Taking over from ex-captain Daly Cherry-Evans, Munster showcased his leadership with a standout performance that combined a strong running and kicking game, leading Queensland to a tense victory against the Blues.
The match unfolded as a game of two halves; Queensland initially surged ahead before facing a resurgence from their opponents in the second half.
Nevertheless, Munster maintained his composure throughout the game, contributing significantly to his team's efforts.
He excelled by scoring a try and accumulating 129 metres from 16 carries, along with a line break and a tackle break.
However, his influence extended beyond these statistics, as he played a crucial role in much of Queensland's successful gameplay.
