In Game 2 of the 2025 State of Origin series, the Queensland Maroons showcased a dominant performance in a rainy Perth, leading 20-0 at halftime.

After a disappointing game in the opening match, the Maroons aimed to secure the series with a strong showing.

The New South Wales Blues struggled early on, with Jarome Luai's kick going out on the full.

However, a captain's challenge for a strip by Nathan Cleary allowed Brian To'o to score the first try for the Blues.

Unfortunately, this was the only highlight for New South Wales as the Maroons responded vigorously.

Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow was a standout for Queensland, scoring two tries within a span of seven minutes.

His first try resulted from exploiting an overlap on the right side, while the second came from a well-placed kick, allowing him to outjump To'o for the score.

The Maroons' clinical execution left the Blues reeling and set the stage for a potential decider in Sydney if Queensland maintained their form.
