Warrington Wolves' Marc Sneyd recently shared his experience with a fractured eye socket and cheekbone he sustained during a match against St Helens on April 24.

Following a collision while tackling, Sneyd described the moment: "So when I hit the deck I just felt my face, I couldn't feel my cheekbone." After the injury, which required surgery, he made a remarkable comeback in the Challenge Cup semi-final, contributing significantly to his team's 21-14 victory by kicking nine points.

With surgical plates installed in his face, Sneyd humorously noted that he had become a "literal man of steel." Reflecting on the unusual nature of his injury, he remarked, "It was a weird one, I don't normally pick up that many injuries especially when it comes to contact injuries." As he prepares for the Challenge Cup final, Sneyd remains focused and determined to give his best performance.
