Marata Niukore, a second rower for the New Zealand Warriors, will leave the club at the conclusion of the 2026 season.
The 29-year-old, who represents both New Zealand and the Cook Islands, is set to continue his NRL journey in Australia after his contract ends.
Niukore returned to the Warriors on a four-year deal in 2023 after previously playing for the Parramatta Eels.
Before joining the Eels, he played for the Warriors in NYC and NSW Cup.
He recently made his 161st appearance in the NRL, marking 65 games with the Warriors, during a match against the Melbourne Storm.
