In a show of strength reminiscent of a charging forward on the field, the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles soared to a dominant 44-6 victory over the Newcastle Knights on a memorable Golden Eagles Day at a packed 4 Pines Park.

The Sea Eagles wasted no time in asserting their authority, notching up four tries in the first half to take a commanding 20-0 lead at the break.

The second half saw the home side continue their onslaught with four more tries, solidifying their position in seventh place on the ladder with 23 competition points.

Amidst the festivities, Clayton Faulalo and Jamie Humphreys were honored as the latest additions to the Sea Eagles family, becoming club members #659 and #660 respectively.

The Golden Eagles Day was a proud occasion for the club, with former players, officials, and administrators taking to the field in a triumphant parade.

The atmosphere at 4 Pines Park was electric, with the stands packed to the brim for the sixth time out of seven home games this season.

'Turbo' proudly led the team onto the field as the 69th captain of the club, while club legend Cliff Lyons was bestowed with his 300 club ring by NRL CEO Andrew Abdo before kick-off.

Overall, it was a performance that would have any fan chanting "Up the Sea Eagles" in celebration of an impressive display of rugby league prowess.
