The boys over at seaeagles.com.au reckon the Sea Eagles are all set to spread their wings and take flight in the upcoming Flegg clash.
Facing an away game against a team in dire straits, along with a two-week break from footy, the challenge is certainly on for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles on Saturday, April 13.
Sitting ninth on the ladder with two wins out of four matches, the Sea Eagles are hitting the road to Auckland to take on the struggling Warriors who are sitting at the bottom of the ladder, still searching for their first win of the season.
This match against the Warriors will mark the first game in two weeks for the Sea Eagles, after their previous Jersey Flegg fixture against Penrith was called off due to rough weather conditions.
But you can bet your bottom dollar that the Sea Eagles are ready and raring to go.
Following a disappointing first half in their last game, where they fell short with a 30-28 loss to the St George-Illawarra Dragons in Gerringong, the Sea Eagles will be looking to come out guns blazing this time around.
Despite the Dragons dominating the first half and leading 22-8 at the break, the Sea Eagles fought back valiantly, leveling up the score twice before ultimately coming up short.
But rest assured, the Sea Eagles are gearing up to put on a show in Auckland and show the Warriors what they're made of.
Time to dig deep, show some grit, and leave it all on the field.
Let's go, Sea Eagles!
