Manly Sea Eagles Add NRL Legend to Coaches

The Manly Sea Eagles are making significant changes to their coaching staff while retaining Anthony Seibold as head coach. According to the Daily Telegraph, former NRL half Brett Kimmorley has been appointed to oversee the club's NSW Cup team for the upcoming season.

Kimmorley has a history with the franchise, having played 26 games for the Northern Eagles during his first-grade career. Most recently, he coached the Wests Tigers NRLW team and filled in as interim NRL head coach after Michael Maguire's exit.

Returning to Brookvale Oval-now known as 4 Pines Park-Kimmorley joins Seibold's restructured coaching team, which also includes club legend Kieran Foran. Foran is set to take on an assistant coaching role once he completes his commitments with the New Zealand team in the Pacific Championships.

These coaching changes are aimed at reviving the Sea Eagles' performance and enhancing Seibold's position, especially after a challenging 2025 season.

After a tough season, Kimmorley announced in September that he would be stepping away from his role with the Tigers' NRLW side and is now set to continue his coaching journey with the Sea Eagles under Seibold's new framework.
