Manly faces tough challenge in women's league showdown

Big test for Manly in Harvey Norman women's

The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are facing a tough challenge in the Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership as they fight to secure a spot in the finals.

The Sea Eagles are currently sitting in seventh place with three rounds left, making their upcoming clash against the second-placed Illawarra Steelers a crucial game.

With only the top four teams making it through to the finals, Manly is currently trailing behind the fourth-placed Mounties by two points.

After taking on the Steelers, the Sea Eagles will go head to head with the Bulldogs and the Sharks in their final two matches.

Unfortunately, Manly suffered a setback with a surprising 44-20 loss to the Wests Tigers last Sunday, causing them to slip in the standings.

Winger Georgia Sim managed to score a brace of tries in the match, but it wasn't enough to secure a victory for the Sea Eagles.

As they gear up for their upcoming matches, Manly will need to dig deep and show their fighting spirit to keep their finals hopes alive.

It's crunch time for the Sea Eagles, and they'll need to give it their all on the field to come out on top.
