Talented Broncos playmaker, Ezra Mam, is gearing up to take on the Knights this Saturday at the same ground where he made his NRL debut two years ago.
The 21-year-old stepped up as a last-minute replacement in Round 11, 2022 when Adam Reynolds suffered a late injury - Mam had to borrow a pair of boots from a teammate as he had not expected to play.
Despite the unexpected circumstances, Mam delivered a standout performance in a memorable Broncos victory on the road.
Since then, he has become a key player for Brisbane, with 54 appearances and 32 tries to his name, solidifying his position as the team's No.6.
Reflecting on his debut game where he forgot to bring his own boots, Mam joked with reporters that he won't make the same mistake twice.
As he prepares to return to the scene of his NRL debut, Mam is ready to showcase his skills and lead his team to another impressive victory, drawing inspiration from his early success in the league.
