Michael Maguire has been confirmed as the new coach for the NSW Blues, and he is wasting no time in shaking things up.
He has made it clear that no player's position is secure and that he is focused on form rather than reputation.
Maguire, who led the Rabbitohs to premiership glory in 2014, has put together a strong coaching team including John Cartwright, Matt King, and Brett White.
He has also appointed Frank Ponissi as the new team performance manager.
Maguire's main goal is to win back the State of Origin shield from Queensland, and he is not afraid to make bold decisions in order to achieve that.
This means that even Blues legends like James Tedesco will have to fight for their spot on the team.
Maguire stated, "I'm going to keep a really open page on where I go." With Maguire at the helm, the NSW Blues are in for some big changes as they strive for success in the upcoming State of Origin series.
