Blues Coach Michael Maguire has thrown down the gauntlet ahead of game two, taking a swipe at the Maroons for implying his team unfairly singled out Reece Walsh.
Calling it "glass houses," Maguire made it clear that he won't stand for any criticism of his tactics.
In the Origin opener, Walsh was forced out of the game early on after a brutal hit from Blues newcomer Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii.
The young gun flew in high on Walsh after he passed the ball, resulting in his ejection from the match.
To make matters worse, Walsh was also taken out by Liam Martin in an aerial tackle after a kick.
While Queensland coach Billy Slater remained tight-lipped about the incident, former Maroons star Johnathan Thurston didn't hold back in his assessment, suggesting the Blues had a clear agenda against Walsh.
Even Nate Myles got in on the action, giving Suaalii a piece of his mind as he left the field.
But Maguire was quick to defend his team, insinuating that the Maroons may have escaped scrutiny for their own actions in the previous game.
As the tension mounts for game two in Melbourne, it's clear that things are heating up between the two bitter rivals.
