Maguire Plans Coaching Future for Reynolds

Brisbane Broncos' premiership coach Michael Maguire has shared his vision for captain Adam Reynolds to join the coaching staff after the veteran player's retirement. This strategy could potentially lead to Reynolds eventually stepping into the head coach role for the Broncos.

Currently under contract until the end of 2026, Reynolds has not dismissed the possibility of extending his playing career into 2027. However, Maguire is keen on retaining the "title-winning knowledge" of the 35-year-old within the club once he decides to retire.

"I'd like 'Reyno' to be part of the coaching staff," Maguire told the Daily Telegraph.

Maguire believes that Reynolds possesses the potential to become a head coach, depending on his aspirations for the future. He has already recognized the positive impact Reynolds has had on his teammates as a captain.

"He has the great nature of being able to help people," he said.

"He cares for his players, he knows the game inside-out, so in time he can move into coaching for sure."
