Martin Taupau has officially left the Brisbane Broncos after facing controversy for liking a social media post that criticized coach Michael Maguire's coaching style.
According to reports from zerotackle.com, the club confirmed that Taupau's contract has been terminated, ending his time with the Broncos unexpectedly.
The situation arose from a video shared by former NRL player Elijah Taylor, who played for Maguire at the Wests Tigers.
In the post, Taylor described Maguire as "emotionally volatile and physically demanding," referring to the "full contact" training sessions and lengthy days filled with excessive meetings.
