The North Queensland Cowboys are thrilled to announce that Luki has committed to a long-term extension with the club.
Hailing from Far North Queensland, Luki cut his teeth playing junior rugby league for Cairns Brothers before making a splash at the Cowboys Cairns Academy back in 2016.
After honing his skills with the Northern Pride junior teams, Luki made his NRL debut in 2021, leaving a lasting impression with a dazzling try against the Newcastle Knights in Round 11.
Despite battling injuries, the 23-year-old has quickly established himself as a rising star in the second row position, showcasing his talent and resilience on the field.
With 40 NRL games under his belt and representing Samoa on the international stage, Luki has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with.
His partnership with fellow Cairns native Jeremiah Nanai is set to ignite the Cowboys' second row, forming a dynamic duo that is sure to cause havoc for opposition teams.
Watch out, NRL, these two young guns are ready to leave their mark on the competition.
