Sam Luckley of Hull KR is excited about the return of Super League's Magic Weekend to Newcastle's St James' Park in 2025.
Luckley, a Geordie, experienced a dream come true in 2022 when he scored for the Salford Red Devils at St James' Park, celebrating like his idol Alan Shearer.
This memorable moment surpassed his childhood expectations of playing at the iconic stadium, where he grew up watching Newcastle United.
After spending a year in Leeds, Luckley is eager to relive "one of the best days of his life" when Hull KR faces Salford Red Devils again, live on Sky Sports on May 3.
He expressed his excitement, stating, "I am (delighted to be back in Newcastle).
I am absolutely buzzing.
It was my childhood dream to play here at St James' Park and I have been lucky enough to do it quite a few times now."
With Magic Weekend making its return for the eighth time in Newcastle, Luckley aims to shine once more on home turf.
