Panthers fans are buzzing with excitement as their star five-eighth, Jarome Luai, is on track to make a remarkable comeback from a dislocated shoulder injury just in time for the NRL preliminary final against Melbourne.
Luai has been out of action for less than four weeks since sustaining the injury against Parramatta.
However, he has been putting in the hard yards during training to prepare for the do-or-die clash with the Storm.
On Sunday, Luai successfully completed a ballwork session with light contact, and he will undergo another light session on Monday before a full-contact opposed session on Wednesday.
If he can get through these sessions without any concerns, Luai is expected to return for the crucial preliminary final.
The 26-year-old playmaker has been exuding confidence during training, and both his teammates and fans are optimistic about his comeback.
Fullback Dylan Edwards praised Luai's performance on Sunday, stating that he still has a few more boxes to tick but is working hard and looking good.
With a few more days of training ahead, Luai will continue to work on his recovery and prove his readiness for the upcoming match.
