Luai Set for Parramatta Move in 2027

BREAKING: Luai locks in Eels move as big cost of bold call move revealed

Jarome Luai has officially secured a new team.

The Tigers' five-eighth is set to join forces with the Parramatta Eels on a one-year deal, partnering with Mitchell Moses in 2027.

This information comes from Code Sports, which reports that the Eels will cover $700,000 of Luai's $1.2 million contract next season, leaving the Tigers responsible for $500,000.

Rugby Australia also expressed interest in Luai, who is set to join the PNG Chiefs for their inaugural season in 2028.

Before he takes on the role of a star for the NRL's upcoming franchise, Luai aims to guide the Eels back to glory, reuniting with former State of Origin teammate Mitchell Moses.

Eels coach Jason Ryles did not deny the club's interest in Luai when questioned about it after their recent loss to the Roosters.
