'I'll steer the ship for Madge': Luai embraces Blues leadership position

Jarome Luai is no longer content sitting on the sidelines - a surprise call from new Blues coach Michael Maguire has signaled to the dynamic playmaker that his leadership qualities have not gone unnoticed.

Known for his flashy playing style and carefree attitude, Luai has often stood out in Origin camps with his unique personality.

Now, the Penrith star has been appointed to the NSW leadership team and he couldn't be more excited about the opportunity.

A talented rugby league player, Luai's creativity and boldness have always caught the eye of fans and pundits alike.

However, it was Maguire who recognized his potential as a leader within the team.

Upon his arrival at camp, Luai received a call from Maguire inviting him to join the likes of new Blues skipper Jake Trbojevic, vice-captain Isaah Yeo, lock Cameron McInnes, halfback Nicho Hynes, and Broncos prop Payne Haas for a leadership meeting.

It seems like Luai is ready to take the wheel and guide the team to victory - with his infectious energy and unwavering determination, the Blues may have found themselves a new driving force.
