Wests Tigers marquee playmaker Jarome Luai has been inundated with questions regarding his future with the club, prompting him to clarify the situation.

Luai has quelled rumors about entering the open market, firmly stating his intention to avoid discussions with rival teams, despite a clause in his contract set to activate on November 1.

His management negotiated a trigger in his $6 million deal, allowing him to receive interest from other clubs starting November 1.

Nevertheless, the star five-eighth emphasizes his complete commitment to the Tigers and expresses no desire to consider outside offers.

"I have no intentions of doing that," Luai informed the Code Sports.

He clarified that the clause was included for security purposes during contract negotiations, rather than as a signal of his intention to explore other options.

"The clauses at the end of the day are for security and to hold people accountable," Luai stated.
