Lomax Breaks Silence on NRL Exit Rumours

Rebel rugby league R360 is gearing up to launch in 2026, and reports suggest that Parramatta Eels star Zac Lomax may be joining this new competition.

Speculation intensified after NRL360 host Braith Anasta announced that the NSW Blues winger plans to leave the NRL for the competing rugby league. Following this revelation, the media sparked a frenzy of discussions surrounding Lomax's future.

At the 2025 Dally M Awards, reporters confronted Lomax about the exit rumours. He casually dismissed the R360 links, stating, "I mean, I'm contracted at the Eels for another three years."

He added, "I've loved my time there and I'm loving every second of it." His comments indicated a strong commitment to the Eels, contrary to the circulating speculation.

When probed further about the new R360 competition, Lomax simply replied, "Nah, not at all," showing little interest in stoking the rumors any further.

Despite Lomax's denials regarding any R360 connections, Anasta disclosed on BTFU's Podcast that he believes Lomax may have already "played his last game" for the Eels, even though he is still in the early stages of a multi-season contract.
