Lock it in Curran extends contract with Bulldogs

In what can only be described as a match-winning move, the Canterbury Bulldogs have secured key forward Josh Curran for another year.

The rugged middle and edge forward made the leap from the New Zealand Warriors earlier this season and has quickly become a linchpin for the Bulldogs.

Curran's contribution to the team's resurgence, leading them back to the finals after a dry spell of eight years, cannot be understated.

His tenacity on the field and ability to adapt to different roles have been crucial for coach Cameron Ciraldo's game plan.

Initially brought on board with a two-year deal, Curran's exceptional performance has impressed the Bulldogs hierarchy enough to secure him for an additional year, keeping him in the blue and white jersey until at least 2026.

"We are stoked that Josh has decided to stick with the Bulldogs," remarked Canterbury's director of football, Phil Gould, in a statement released by the club.

With this new contract locked in, Curran will undoubtedly continue to be a cornerstone of the Canterbury pack, bringing hard hits and fierce determination to every match.
