Melbourne Storm has announced the renewal of promising second-rower Ativalu Lisati's contract, extending it until 2027, according to melbournestorm.com.au. Lisati had a standout season in 2025, where he made 14 appearances and was named to the bench for the NRL Grand Final.
His remarkable performance earned him recognition at the Club's Player of the Year Awards, culminating in the accolade of Billy Slater Rookie of the Year. Additionally, he received his first international call-up to represent Samoa in the 2025 Pacific Championships.
Having joined the Storm mid-season in 2024 from the Penrith Panthers, Lisati has swiftly made a name for himself as one of the Club's most exciting young prospects. Storm's Director of Football, Frank Ponissi, commented, "Lisati's contract extension was another positive step forward for the Club's 2026 preparations."
