Sunshine Coast Lightning is gearing up for an epic 2024 season, with a series of blockbuster games that are set to leave fans on the edge of their seats.

The first match will see Lightning take on the NSW Swifts in a highly anticipated home game at UniSC Arena - a venue that holds special significance for the team.

Last time these two teams clashed at the arena, Lightning suffered a heartbreaking one-point loss, leaving them thirsty for redemption in Round 1.

The team will then embark on a grueling journey to the West Coast for their Round 2 encounter, followed by back-to-back home games against the reigning premiers.

ANZAC Day will witness a titanic clash, while the Inclusion Round will provide an opportunity for Lightning to showcase their strength against the formidable Melbourne Mavericks.

As if that wasn't enough, the battle for Queensland pride will reignite in Round 7 when Lightning locks horns with the Queensland Firebirds.

This clash will be all about defending the Queensland Cup and ensuring that the trophy remains in the Sunshine Coast cabinet.

Round 7 holds special significance as it also marks the start of the First Nations Rounds, a time when the Suncorp Super Netball calendar pays tribute to First Nations people through various game day initiatives and striking dresses designed by Indigenous artists.

Following the home games, Lightning will hit the skies as they embark on a short flight to New South Wales to face the Swifts once again, before returning to their beloved UniSC Arena for the final two regular games - a fitting finale to what promises to be an unforgettable season.
