Rugby League journeyman Ben Condon is poised to make a move to greener pastures, with reports indicating he is on the verge of signing with the Leigh Leopards in the English Super League for the 2025 season.

The versatile forward, known for his prowess on the edge but also capable of holding his own in the middle, has had a tough time cracking into the first-grade squad at the Manly Sea Eagles.

After leaving the North Queensland Cowboys in search of more opportunities, Condon found himself behind rising stars Jeremiah Nanai and Heilum Luki on the edge at his new club.

Despite managing just five NRL appearances during his stint at Manly, Condon showcased his skills during the 2024 season with the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles in the reserve grade competition, scoring four tries and proving to be a reliable force on the field.

With a total of 17 NRL games under his belt, Condon is determined to make a mark in the Super League and show what he is truly capable of on the rugby league stage.

As he prepares for a new chapter in his career, the departing Sea Eagles forward is ready to tackle the challenges that lie ahead in England, eager to prove his worth and make a name for himself in a new setting.
