The Sea Eagles have copped a tough blow in the injury department, with young gun Lehi Hopoate nursing an eye socket injury after their impressive 38-8 victory over the Gold Coast Titans.

This setback comes at a time when Hopoate was really hitting his stride on the field, showcasing his skills out on the wing and as a full-back for the Sea Eagles since his debut against the Melbourne Storm.

It's a real shame for the 19-year-old Manly local, who was forced off the field after just 36 minutes of play at 4 Pines Park due to the injury.

Despite this setback, the Sea Eagles are sure to rally together and support their teammate as he recovers and gets back to his best form.

No doubt Hopoate will draw on his fighting spirit and determination to get back out on the field as soon as he can, ready to soar high once again with his fellow Sea Eagles.
