As the preliminary final approaches, it takes a lot to distract a Panther, even momentarily.

The Penrith team possesses a deep-rooted belief in their processes. Ahead of their Sunday match against Brisbane, they approach tasks-whether a full training session or a simple interview-with unwavering dedication.

However, Moses Leota, their formidable prop, finds himself occasionally glancing back.

Located in front of the Panthers Rugby League Academy, a television in the lobby continuously showcases highlights of the club's impressive streak of four consecutive premiership titles.

Leota has played a vital role in each of these titles. Like many others at Penrith, his remarkable focus on the present moment, often overlooking distractions, remains one of his key attributes.

Yet, there are brief moments when his thoughts wander elsewhere, especially as the intensity of the 2023 grand final increases.

"Ah, yeah, maybe I was watching a little," Leota admitted. "I saw my try, so I was smirking a bit."
