Leeds Rhinos celebrated the decision of head coach Brad Arthur to extend his contract by delivering an impressive performance against Castleford Tigers, scoring over fifty points in their Betfred Super League match. The Rhinos triumphed 64-4, marking their first half-century of the season, while Castleford faced another painful defeat.

In this match, Leeds scored 11 tries, with Jake Connor contributing significantly, tallying 22 points from a try and nine conversions. Brodie Croft, Ryan Hall, and Ash Handley each scored twice, securing a dominant win that places Leeds just two points behind second-placed Wigan.

Arthur's impact since becoming head coach late last year has been profound, and his commitment to stay with the club until at least the end of 2026 reflects the positive momentum building within the Rhinos organization.

Conversely, Castleford's performance was disappointing, managing only a late try from full-back Jenson Windley, which did little to redeem their efforts in a challenging match for the young player.

Leeds signaled their offensive intentions early, taking less than five minutes to score. Connor executed a daring kick on their second play, which Harry Newman caught, putting the Rhinos ahead. Just four minutes later, another well-placed kick from Connor found Lachlan Miller under the posts, further extending their lead and highlighting the growing frustrations of the Castleford fans.
