George Lawler, the Castleford Tigers fearless front-rower, has found himself sidelined and in the hospital with a brain bleed following a troubling seizure on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old warrior is under observation this weekend as the Tigers keep a watchful eye on his condition.

Thankfully, Lawler is currently "awake and feeling well" according to the club.

Lawler, known for his grit and determination on the field, has crossed the try line twice in his 46 appearances for Castleford since making the move in 2022 from his beloved hometown club, Hull KR.

As the Rugby League community rallies around Lawler and his loved ones during this challenging time, the Tigers have requested that the family's privacy be respected.

In the unpredictable game of Rugby League, where battles are fought on and off the field, Lawler's fighting spirit will undoubtedly see him through this tough period.

We wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back in action soon.
