The cat's out of the bag, folks! The lass in the leaked snap with injured footy legend Latrell Mitchell has stepped up to the plate and revealed herself amidst swirling rumors about the image.

According to reports from news.com.au, the woman in question, a spirited 27-year-old, was captured in a snapshot with Mitchell inside a Dubbo motel room.

The NRL's integrity unit is currently snooping around the photo, which has caused quite a stir in the rugby league community.

In a bold move, the woman, identified as Amy Brown, took to social media to poke fun at the situation.

"Can't believe they caught me at my worst angle," she quipped, showing that she can take the heat.

Addressing the backlash head-on, Brown made it clear that there's no shame in letting loose and having a bit of a laugh.

She vehemently denied any involvement in the photo leak, stating, "I had no idea that picture even existed … I wouldn't even know how to airdrop it."

Now that the real McCoy has spoken out, the finger-pointing game can finally come to a head.

Time will tell how this drama plays out in the hallowed halls of NRL history.
