Koroisau's Pacific Time Out sorted for Tigers Captain

Wests Tigers' fearless leader, Apisai Koroisau, has had his suspension timeline set in stone, with the majority, if not all, of his time on the sidelines set to be served during the upcoming Pacific Bowl tournament.

A key player for the Fiji national team, Koroisau will unfortunately be absent for the entire tournament as Fiji faces off against the Cook Islands and Papua New Guinea on their home turf in Suva.

It's a tough blow for the skipper, adding insult to injury.

While missing out on the chance to play in front of a home crowd will definitely hurt, the NRL has given the green light for Koroisau to serve two of his three-game suspension during the tournament, as confirmed by a News Corp report.

The suspension stems from an incident during the final round match against the Parramatta Eels, a game that solidified the Tigers' grip on the dreaded wooden spoon yet again.

Fiji will feel the absence of Koroisau during the tournament, as the versatile player has showcased his skills in multiple positions, including the halves and his preferred spot as dummy half, in recent years for the island nation.
