Former NRL centre Konrad Hurrell, known for his time with the Gold Coast Titans and New Zealand Warriors, has signed with a new team that will extend his rugby journey overseas.
According to zerotackle.com, after a one-year contract extension with St Helens RLFC in November, Hurrell has now agreed to a two-week loan deal with the Bradford Bulls, who compete in the RFL Championship, the second tier of the English Super League.
Hurrell last played in the NRL in 2018 and made a significant impact as a 12-time Tongan international, recognized for his size and speed.
He had a total of 71 matches with the New Zealand Warriors from 2012 to 2016, scoring 41 tries, followed by 45 appearances for the Gold Coast Titans, where he added 14 tries to his record.
His career also included a selection for the World All-Stars in 2016.
Bradford Bulls coach Brian Noble expressed enthusiasm about Hurrell's signing, stating, "It's very exciting, clearly Konrad has played at a high level of Rugby League for a number of years."
