The Warriors have suffered their third consecutive defeat as the Knights managed to hold on for a gritty 14-8 win on Sunday, much to the disappointment of the Warriors faithful.

Despite facing adversity with the loss of their key player Kalyn Ponga due to injury, the Knights have shown resilience by securing back-to-back victories for the first time this season.

In a clash filled with intensity and physicality, the Knights took advantage of an early penalty to score the opening try through Tyson Gamble, who displayed great composure to finish off a Jackson Hastings kick in the in-goal area.

The momentum continued to swing in favor of the Knights as Dane Gagai added a penalty goal to extend their lead to 8-0.

The Warriors, plagued by errors in the opening stages, finally found their rhythm with Dylan Walker crashing over the line to narrow the deficit.

As the game approached halftime, the Warriors looked poised to take the lead with winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak making a spectacular leap over Greg Marzhew, only to fumble the ball in the process.

Despite a spirited effort in the second half, the Warriors were unable to break through the Knights' resolute defense, ultimately falling short in their comeback bid.

The Knights' determination and grit proved too much for the Warriors to handle, securing a hard-fought victory on home turf.

The Warriors will need to regroup and bounce back from this defeat as they aim to turn their fortunes around in the coming matches.

The Knights, on the other hand, will take confidence from this win as they continue to defy expectations and push towards greater success in the Rugby League season.
