The nib Newcastle Knights NRLW Head Coach, Ronald Griffiths, has made some changes to his squad for their upcoming Round 8 match against the Sydney Roosters at McDonald Jones Stadium.
According to a report on newcastleknights.com.au, the squad update includes the inclusion of a debutant.
19-year-old Jacinta Carter has been selected to make her NRLW debut and will come off the bench.
Carter, who previously represented Queensland Under 19, was initially signed as a development player but has now been promoted to the Top 24.
Additionally, Tiana Davison will join the bench to replace the injured Viena Tinao, while Tayla Predebon will move into the starting 13.
The gates and fan zone will open at 11am on match day, with an NRLW double header scheduled.
The first match will be between the Wests Tigers and Broncos at 11.30am, followed by the highly anticipated clash between the table-topping Knights and Roosters at 1.30pm.
